Urban League of Westchester County, Inc. (www.ulwc.org) The Urban League of Westchester County is seeking a compassionate and highly organized Educational Case Manager to join our Educational Success Program (ESP). This position provides educational advocacy, case management, and support services to children and youth experiencing homelessness or housing instability under the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act. What You'll Do Provide comprehensive case management services to children, youth, and families experiencing homelessness. Advocate for students to ensure access to educational services and school stability. Coordinate services with school districts, shelters, healthcare providers, and community organizations. Monitor school enrollment, attendance, academic progress, and educational outcomes. Assist families with transportation, school supplies, educational resources, referrals, and supportive services. Maintain accurate electronic case files and confidential documentation. Participate in school meetings, case conferences, outreach events, and community partnerships. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Education, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field required. At least two (2) years of professional case management or human services experience. Experience working with children, adolescents, and families. Strong knowledge of community resources and social service systems. Experience in nonprofit, education, child welfare, youth development, or family services is highly desirable. Skills & Qualifications The successful candidate will demonstrate: Strong case management and advocacy skills. Excellent verbal and written communication. Outstanding organizational and time management abilities. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Computer Skills Microsoft Excel Microsoft Word Applicants should be comfortable creating and maintaining spreadsheets, entering and tracking participant information, organizing electronic records, preparing reports. Additional Requirements Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. Ability to travel throughout Westchester County. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required.
