A Family, School, or General Social Worker provides specialized assistance to vulnerable families and children. Job Description

Social Worker
  • Eating Disorders Track
  • Part-Time As a Social Worker in the eating disorders track, you will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to provide individual and group psychotherapy and discharge planning to adult patients.
Here the patient's benefit from the latest clinical research findings and advances in the treatment of eating disorders such as anorexia nervosa, avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID), bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, and related disorders. As part of your role you will receive weekly expert supervision.
Shift details:
In person 4 days a week. Approximately 4.5 hours a shift. Preferred Criteria Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) 3 to 5 years of experience in the treatment of psychiatric patients Experience with eating disorders or commitment to working with this population Training in evidence-based treatments for eating disorders (e.g., CBT-E, CBT-AR, FBT) Competency in individual, family and group treatment modalities and treatment techniques appropriate to outpatient treatment setting Required Criteria Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) At least 3 years of experience in the treatment of psychiatric patients Limited Permit (must supply exam date prior to start of employment) Fieldwork or previous experience in a psychiatric setting using evidence-based treatments. Knowledge base of bio-psychosocial model, DSM-V diagnoses, criteria for treatment of different diagnoses, behavioral risk factors and of the impact of mental illness upon individual and family functioning Knowledge base of community and discharge planning resources and processes Experience using an electronic medical record Join a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
