A Family, School, or General Social Worker provides specialized assistance to vulnerable families and children. Intervenes in crisis situations; evaluates individual and family needs, helps clients get access to health care, mental health care or social services such as housing assistance. Advocates for clients and provides follow up visits. May work with teachers, parents and school administrators to help students improve academically and deal with social issues such as bullying.

Cadence Care Network has an immediate opening for a Licensed Clinician to provide intensive home-based programming to juvenile justice/child welfare involved youth. Multisystemic Therapy (MST) is an evidence based, intensive, family and community treatment model that focuses on addressing all environmental systems that impact chronic juvenile offenders, their homes and families, schools and teachers, neighborhoods, and friends for Ashtabula county. The ideal candidate for this position possesses the desire and ability to work with families and youth in a non-traditional therapeutic setting (home and community based) and within the context of a flexible schedule (whatever it takes to meet a family's needs).
Qualifications:
Master's degree in counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy. Licensed by the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, Marriage & Family Therapist Board as a LSW, LISW, LPC, or LPCC. Valid Driver License, Auto Insurance and the provision of a vehicle for work purposes.
