The child and adolescent therapist will work within Middletown City schools providing mental health counseling services. Current openings are Middletown High School and Middle Middle School. Therapist will provide diagnostic assessment, individual, crisis crisis intervention and/or family therapy. Therapists will have on site clinical and training supervision, monthly school based team meetings, and weekly program collaboration with team coordinators. Therapists will partner with all school staff and work collaboratively with the student, family and school faculty to engage with appropriate resources and special programs within the community and school.. This will be a blend of school based and office.

Job Requirements:

Masters degree in counseling, or social work. Requires an Ohio License in Social Work or Counseling (LPC, LSW, LPCC, LISW, LMFT, LIMFT). Experience working with children-adolescents, families and schools/community agencies required, substance abuse and trauma certifications desired. Training supervision, EMDR supervision and play therapy supervision is available, new grads encouraged to apply.
