What they do

A Family, School, or General Social Worker provides specialized assistance to vulnerable families and children. Intervenes in crisis situations; evaluates individual and family needs, helps clients get access to health care, mental health care or social services such as housing assistance. Advocates for clients and provides follow up visits. May work with teachers, parents and school administrators to help students improve academically and deal with social issues such as bullying.

Job Description

The Admissions Department is looking for federal work study student workers to service customers (students and potential students, etc.) via phone and face-to-face. This is a non-federal work study student worker position.

Hours are flexible and can vary. Must be able to work one to two evenings per week. 20 hours per week is the maximum hours allowed when school is in session.

We are looking for student workers with great customer service skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, good computer skills and phone skills.
