Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Services Therapist to join our Acute Care Unit! Responsibilities Responsible for social work programming and quality on the Acute Care Unit. Works closely with Director of Nursing in providing therapeutic programming for Acute Care Clients. Oversees social work programming to assure that the most productive treatments are offered. Provides and oversees diagnostic assessments. Makes recommendations about patient's treatment needs based on screening and diagnostic assessment. Oversees social work programming to assure that the most productive treatments are offered. Employs a variety of treatment modalities including individual, group, and family therapy. Psychotherapeutic techniques and modalities are appropriately matched for clinical needs. Requirements Education/Experience Master's Degree in social services/social work/counseling 3-5 Years' experience in mental or behavioral health, preferably inpatient/acute care Licensure/Certifications Licensed as a Social Worker, Counselor or Marriage Family Therapist (LSW/LPC/MFT) in the State of Ohio SW Trainees acccepted!
LISW/LPCC/IMFT
Preferred with supervision designation
NVCI CPR
(BLS)/First Aid Pay and Benefits $52,000-$60,000 and based on experience.
LISW/LPCC/IMFT
receive 5% on top of base pay MHS provides CPR/First Aid and NVCI (CPI Blue) for all new staff, along with on-going education and on-the-job training opportunities. #NHR1
