A Family, School, or General Social Worker provides specialized assistance to vulnerable families and children. Intervenes in crisis situations; evaluates individual and family needs, helps clients get access to health care, mental health care or social services such as housing assistance. Job Description

Employee will provide casework services to children and their families using a family centered approach, requiring high level communication skills and knowledge of social work concepts and techniques. The ability to relate in a nonjudgmental manner is critical. A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or a closely related major is required.
