A Family, School, or General Social Worker provides specialized assistance to vulnerable families and children. Min start rate $31.00 hour - higher rate based on experience Clients on site - no cancel or no show appointments. Part time, some non-traditional and weekend hours may be required. We are looking for a Licensed Social Worker or Counselor with a Master's degree to join our team! In this role the Licensed Social Worker/Counselor provides services to patients and families acting as a liaison between treatment team, physicians, referral sources, community agencies, outside therapists, and third-party reviewers. Additional the Licensed Social Worker/Counselor provides individual, family, multi-family and group therapy per program needs. Completes assessments, contributes to the master treatment plan, and ensures the discharge planning is complete and contributes to discharge summaries as assigned.
Qualifications Education:
Master's Degree in Social Work or Master's Degree in Counseling.
Licensure :
Ohio LSW, LISW, LPC, or LPCC Experience:
Work experience as licensed social worker or counselor. Previous work experience in a mental healthcare facility is highly preferred. Must have working knowledge of developmental and life stage of and psychiatric problems peculiar to younger childhood (ages 3-7), middle childhood (ages 8-12), and adolescent (ages 13 to 18) populations. This individual must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Diplomacy and discretion are essential, as well as excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects. Professional demeanor and appearance required.
