Responsibilities:
Student Supervision and Safety:
Provide attentive supervision to ensure the safety and well-being of all students. Maintain clear visibility of students at all times and enforce program rules to promote a safe environment. Manage student behavior in a positive, encouraging manner, following Holy Trinity's guidelines and values.
Activity Support and Engagement:
Assist in organizing and facilitating activities, games, and crafts that engage students and support their development. Support students with homework, projects, or other activities as needed.
Communication and Collaboration:
Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents, offering daily updates on student progress and any notable incidents. Report any safety concerns, incidents, or student issues to the After-Care Coordinator. Collaborate with other after-care staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment.
Qualifications:
Experience working with children in a school, camp, or childcare setting is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and patient approach. Ability to manage small groups of students safely and effectively. Dependable and punctual, with a commitment to the hours outlined.
