JOB FUNCTION
Crossroads Youth & Family Services, Inc. is seeking a Classroom Support for its Children Chateau location in Comanche County. The Classroom Support assists in creating a warm, safe, and engaging learning environment for infants, toddlers, and children. This position supports developmentally appropriate learning, early intervention, and care activities that meet the needs of individual children and families. The Classroom Support assists with implementing Head Start/Early Head Start curriculum and Performance Standards, maintaining organized learning centers, and supporting lesson planning. The position promotes positive, nurturing relationships with children through consistent care, appropriate guidance, and daily communication. Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent; Early childhood training and experience preferred
License:
Must possess a valid Driver's License and maintain acceptable liability insurance
Knowledge:
Excellent written and oral communication; Organizational, problem-solving, interpersonal and analytical skills required; Knowledge of community resources, methods and practices of health and safety precautions, providing age-appropriate education services and facilitating family involvement in program services.
