The Family Engagement Coordinator plays a critical role in enhancing meaningful connections between students' families and the university community as well as with each other. This position is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining programs, resources, and events that enhance family awareness of campus processes, traditions, and opportunities. Additionally, the position works to engage families in activities that promote student well-being, career readiness, and citizenship, while also managing family volunteer involvement and providing training to faculty and staff on family-related concerns. The role collaborates extensively with campus partners to create varying, family-focused programming and supports onboarding efforts for families of new students. The Family Engagement Coordinator also manages family communications, responding to inquiries and maintaining accurate, timely information across digital platforms. In addition to role-specific responsibilities, the coordinator provides programmatic and administrative support across the Student Engagement function, contributes to assessment efforts, and participates in other Campus Life functions, departmental communication and outreach efforts as an essential part of the team. This position reports to the Director of Student and Family Engagement within Campus Life and works collaboratively with units across both Student Affairs and Academic Affairs. Required Qualifications Bachelor's in related field such as education, higher education, psychology, human development, counseling, leadership, social work, leisure studies, recreation management, or nonprofit management.
