A Family, School, or General Social Worker provides specialized assistance to vulnerable families and children. Intervenes in crisis situations; evaluates individual and family needs, helps clients get access to health care, mental health care or social services such as housing assistance. Advocates for clients and provides follow up visits. May work with teachers, parents and school administrators to help students improve academically and deal with social issues such as bullying.

Job Description
- Mondays through Friday from 2:15pm - 6:00 pm
- (Time flexible due to activity).
- Planning times are scheduled at flexible times.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years old (due to insurance requirements for driving agency vehicles) Must have a clean driving record for the past 3 years A heart for working with young people- Assist with coordinating operations of the after-school site ensuring high-quality programming in a safe, nurturing, and fun environment, whether in-person or in a remote learning format.
- Assist with maintaining records including children's files, weekly site reports, class lists, attendance sheets Assisting in the creation and implementation of a flexible elementary grade program that aligns with the Oklahoma Academic Standards; creating a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth; establishing effective rapport with students; motivating them to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed to succeed in grade school and beyond, in accordance with each student's ability; and establishing good relationships with parents and with other staff members.
