GOAL:
Support in providing an enriching and engaging after-school care environment for children in elementary school after school hours on all school days.PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Implement and lead age-appropriate after-school activities for Kindergarten-5th grade children in a school setting. Assist in the supervision of 30- 65 children in both large and small group settings (Ratios are typically 1:15).
Qualifications:
Experience in working with youth, youth development, camps, childcare, educational instruction or related disciplines. (Minimum 1 year) Personal attributes: Ability to cultivate and maintain positive relationships with children and adults. Ability to clearly communicate and problem-solve quickly. Patient and flexible with people and expectations as appropriate. Positive attitude. Must be able to obtain a Food Handlers Card, CPR/First Aid certificates prior to employment. Must complete requiredELD/ODHS
training prior to employment. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, active, and changing environment. Bilingual applicants are desired, but not required.Working Conditions:
