TWOSECONDARY SCHOOL SOCIAL WORKERS
The Altoona Area School District is seeking two dedicated and compassionate Secondary School Social Workers to join our team! School Social Workers play a vital role in supporting students and families and helping remove barriers that may interfere with student learning and success. In this position, you will work closely with students, families, school staff and community agencies to address social, emotional, and environmental needs and promote student well-being. Required Qualifications- Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) required
- Current Pennsylvania LSW or LCSW required
- Pennsylvania School Social Worker PK-12 Educational Specialist Certificate required
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with children preferred
- Experience as a Social Worker working with children preferred Altoona Area School District is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
