Job Description

The Before/After School Site Director is responsible for all aspects of daily operation of a Berwick Area YMCA Before and After School program site. The position is responsible for the planning, implementation, and facilitation of program activities ensuring a safe, enriching, and high-quality program environment.

Qualifications:

1. Meets educational and experience qualifications established by state law. 2. At least 18 years of age. 3. CPR, First Aid, AED certifications and Child Abuse prevention training within 30 days of hire date. Other trainings as established by state law within the prescribed timelines. 4. Previous experience working with children in a developmental setting preferred and may be required in accordance with state law depending upon level of education attained. 5. Ability to plan, organize and implement age-appropriate/developmentally appropriate program activities. 6. Ability to develop positive, authentic relationships with children, parents and the school district.
