Job Description
Willow Foundation is hiring a Health & Wellness Worker for Alderwood Center, a community resource center in Lehighton. This is a peer educator and community-building role. What you'll do Facilitate WRAP groups, Mental Health First Aid check-ins, and life skills programming that's guided by community need and member interest. Recruit, welcome, and coordinate volunteers, including community meal contributions; prepare and serve meals and snacks for members. Help members take ownership of setup, cleanup, hospitality, and shared care of the space; maintain a Recovery Ready environment that reflects Willow Foundation's values. Own the daily readiness of the space: keep Alderwood clean and orderly, share opening and closing responsibilities, oversee the Operations Checklist, and prepare the space and materials for visiting outside agencies and partners. Track service counts, meal counts, group attendance, donations, and supplies. What you'll bring High school diploma or equivalent, with comfort teaching, facilitating groups, and organizing volunteers. Interest in becoming a WRAP facilitator and completing MHFA and WHAM certification. Ability to complete PA Child Abuse, PA State Police, and FBI clearances, and obtain food handler's certification within 90 days of hire.
