This contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated professional who enjoys working closely with young people in a flexible, part-time role. Located in the Pittston, PA area, youll have the rewarding responsibility of supporting a manageable caseload of approximately 20 students across K-12, fostering their social, emotional, and academic well-being. As a school-based social worker, youll provide both small group and individualized support. The role is part-time, requiring a commitment of one day per week (7:45AM 2:30PM), with scheduling flexibility to suit your needs.

Qualifications:

Valid licensure as a school social worker or social work credential applicable to K-12 settings Experience providing school-based social work services preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Comfort facilitating small groups as well as providing individualized, 1:1 support Ability to work respectfully with students, families, and school staff from diverse backgrounds

Responsibilities:

Deliver direct social-emotional support to students in both group and 1:1 formats Develop and implement individualized interventions and support plans Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to address student needs Maintain accurate documentation of services provided Participate in team meetings and support IEP/504 plan development as needed
