Pottstown School District is looking for a Social Worker.

Minimum Requirement:

Master's Degree in Social Work and Home and School Visitor Certification Candidate must be in posession of or eligible for Act 34, 114, adnd 151 clearances prior to employment. Must have all clearances no greater than one year old to begin employment. District retains the right to screen, interview, and hire applicants prior to the closing date on the posting. The social worker identifies and obtains social work services specific to students and families in two smaller learning environments within the district. These services will include, but are not necessarily limited to: liaison activities between the school and families. Providing counseling, providing services to families. Providing families with community services. Provide support for students and families in crisis and coordinate with local community advocates and law enforcement agencies.
