Category Schools - Social Worker Job Type Contract Bring your expertise and dedication to students as a contracted school social worker in a vibrant, supportive educational environment. Two outstanding opportunities are now open for compassionate professionals interested in serving onsite at schools near Uniontown, PA. These assignments offer the chance to make a meaningful impact in emotional support settings and specialized programs.
Available roles include:
Full-time position supporting emotional support programs and a partial hospitalization program, beginning as soon as possible through December 2026 (subject to change). Long-term substitute position assisting students from October 2026 to the end of January 2027 (dates to be confirmed).
Qualifications and Experience Sought:
A Master's Degree in Social Work or a related field. Current PA State License. PDE Educational Specialist certification. Previous experience within school settings, especially with emotional and behavioral support programs, is highly valued.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Delivering direct social-emotional support and interventions tailored to individual student needs. Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote the success and well-being of each student. Participating in the development and implementation of individual education and treatment plans. Advocating for students and connecting them with community resources. Maintaining accurate, confidential records in accordance with school and state guidelines. These are onsite roles based in educational settings where you'll have the opportunity to foster resilience, inclusivity, and success among students.
