Key Qualifications:

Valid license/certification as a School Social Worker in Pennsylvania Experience working with elementary school-aged children, preferably in emotional support or special education settings Strong knowledge of behavioral interventions, trauma-informed care, and counseling techniques Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families Excellent communication and documentation skills Compassionate, patient, and flexible approach to student needs

Core Responsibilities:

Provide direct social/emotional support and counseling to students K-4 in the emotional support program Develop, implement, and track individualized support plans to foster academic and personal success Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify needs and recommend interventions Facilitate group and individual sessions to help students enhance coping, social skills, and self-regulation Act as a liaison between school, families, and community resources Maintain accurate, confidential documentation and progress notes in accordance with school policies Why Consider This Role?
