We are seeking a Truancy Mentor to work within Check & Connect , an evidence-based program focused on preventing truancy and keeping students engaged in their education. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by guiding students back on the path to success . This position will be working out of Hannah Penn K-8 school! What You'll Do As a Truancy Mentor , you will: Work directly with students to encourage school attendance and engagement . Monitor attendance and follow up with students and families to address concerns. Collaborate with school staff and community partners to develop effective intervention strategies. Serve as a mentor, advocate, and service coordinator to help students overcome challenges. Conduct home visits to stay connected with families and provide ongoing support. Why Work with PCS?
