Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Intensive In-Home Team Lead to oversee and coordinate in-home behavioral health services for children and families. This role is vital in delivering high-quality, family-centered care that promotes positive behavioral and mental health outcomes. As a Team Lead, you will supervise a team of clinicians, ensure compliance with clinical standards, and foster a supportive environment that empowers both clients and staff to thrive. Your leadership will drive the successful implementation of individualized treatment plans within the home setting, making a meaningful difference in the lives of children with disabilities and their families. Responsibilities Supervise and mentor a team of behavioral health clinicians providing in-home services, ensuring adherence to clinical documentation standards and best practices. Coordinate service delivery to ensure timely, effective, and family-centered care aligned with client needs and treatment goals. Conduct comprehensive client assessments, including diagnostic evaluations, patient care planning, and progress monitoring using electronic health records (EHR) management systems. Provide direct in-home therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based approaches such as applied behavior analysis (ABA), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), family therapy, art therapy, and trauma-informed care including PTSD management. Lead crisis intervention efforts when necessary, managing conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques within home environments. Facilitate communication with families, schools, medical providers, and community resources to support holistic case management and ensure coordinated care. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical documentation, medical terminology records, and client data collection according to organizational standards. Qualifications Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field; licensure or certification required. Proven experience working with children with disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), or behavioral health challenges in home or community settings. Strong knowledge of behavioral management strategies, crisis management protocols, and child & youth therapy techniques. Expertise in motivational interviewing, conflict management, family therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) management systems and medical documentation standards. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Demonstrated cultural competency and sensitivity when working with diverse populations. Ability to handle crisis situations calmly while applying trauma-informed care principles.
