Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Licensed Child Placing Agency Administrator (LCPAA) to lead and oversee all aspects of our child welfare and foster care programs. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the agency's compliance with state and federal regulations, manage a team of social workers and case managers, and foster positive relationships with children, families, and community partners. Your leadership will help create a safe, nurturing environment for children in need of placement, while promoting best practices in child welfare, adoption, and family support services. Responsibilities Provide overall administrative direction for the agency's foster care, adoption, and child welfare programs, ensuring compliance with mandated reporting laws and licensing standards. Supervise and support staff including social workers, case managers, and administrative personnel to promote high-quality service delivery. Oversee case management processes to ensure timely placement of children with appropriate families while prioritizing safety, stability, and cultural competency. Maintain strong relationships with foster families, biological families, community partners, and government agencies to facilitate effective communication and collaboration. Ensure staff are trained in child protective services protocols, CPR certification, cultural competency practices, and mandated reporting laws. Monitor program performance metrics; implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance client outcomes and operational efficiency. Manage agency documentation using Microsoft Office tools; prepare reports for licensing agencies, funding bodies, and internal review. Drive agency initiatives focused on working with children with developmental disabilities or special needs to ensure inclusive services. Requirements Valid licensure as a Child Placing Agency Administrator (LCPAA) or equivalent certification as required by state law. Proven experience working with foster children, adoptive families, or in child welfare settings. Strong knowledge of child protective services procedures, mandated reporting laws, and child welfare regulations. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively through task prioritization and strategic planning. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or special needs is highly desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and reporting purposes. Valid driver's license with reliable transportation for community visits or client meetings. Knowledge of social work principles, case management practices, and working with diverse populations including culturally competent approaches. Ability to communicate clearly with clients, families, staff members, and external agencies while maintaining professionalism at all times. $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
