Social Work Full Job Description Licensed Social Worker Duties:
  • Provide individual and care and support to clients
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such registered nurses and registered dieticians, to coordinate care
  • Advocate for clients' needs and rights within the welfare system
  • Assist clients in accessing community resources, such as Section 8 housing and childcare services
  • Utilize Medicaid and other insurance programs to ensure clients receive necessary mental health services
  • Provide mentoring and support to clients in the areas of workforce development and job placement
  • Supervise and train social work interns and other staff members
  • Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to promote positive behavior change
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree/Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure as a Licensedl Social Worker
  • Experience working in child welfare or related field preferred
  • Knowledge of Section 8 housing programs and childcare resources
  • Familiarity with Medicaid and other insurance programs for mental health services
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with diverse populations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills We offer flexible schedules.
