Various, up to 32 hours PT AltaStaff, a boutique staffing agency is looking for several Licensed Social Workers (a.k.a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts) for one of our Managed Care partners. This role is work from home and offers a part-time schedule. Must be licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and/or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor . JOB SUMMARY

The Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) is primarily responsible for monitoring services and providing community support services and therapeutic services. The LPHA uses a basic knowledge of diagnostic characteristics, symptomology of primary mental illness and knowledge of medications, side effects and benefits to provide services in a person-centered, supportive, community-based environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(include but are not limited to the following): Assist in the identification of providers in need of targeted training sessions. Conducts analyses of the incoming call population, preparing resulting reports as necessary. Assists all Line Workers on incoming calls. Supervises team including training of staff, direction of day-to-day activity and evaluation of work quantity and quality through mandated performance reviews. Communicate with the Program Manager, Program Provider, and Line Workers either in writing or verbally, regarding provision and/or revision changes. Develop, prepare materials, and conducts training sessions/presentations as needed. Manage full access to client information within HIPPA laws and regulations Analyze data on a regular basis and suggest areas for improvement. Participate in ongoing quality improvements efforts of the agency. Ability to working effectively with diverse communities and constituencies. Other duties as assign or other functions to the job at its discretion.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50 % of the time. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision requirements include the ability to see at close range and at a distance.

REQUIREMENTS

Education commensurate with requirements for licensure in qualifying professions for designation as an Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) in the State of Illinois with experience in mental health services to children and youth. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage projects and supervise staff. Ability to analyze and interpret reports. Ability to develop and present small and large group training sessions. Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships. Ability to apply mathematical concepts as they apply to interpreting reports. Working knowledge of the data management systems, spreadsheets and word processing software. Ability to define problems identifies and implements solutions, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Meeting the changing needs of funders/funding sources to ensure quality relations, while continually being attuned to maintaining credibility & professionalism. Developing and maintaining high quality of service while undergoing growth.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
