Family Engagement Specialists (FES) will be responsible for maintaining the education schedule, location, frequency, and any necessary reports. The FES may also teach additional community educational events, workshops, and attend vendor events. Flexible schedule necessary for education & programming schedules. This position currently reports to the Chief Executive Officer. Primary Job Functions Help track family enrollment and attendance of scheduled sessions. Complete weekly invoicing for services rendered & submit to CEO. Complete any required reports for each scheduled appointment. Provide office or clerical support to The Playful Family, Inc. as needed for assigned clients. Maintains the cleanliness and appearance of the visitation room at The Playful Family. Inputs information into EHR as needed. Maintains participant files as needed. Keeps appropriate records and statistics with respect to area of responsibility. Assembles records and/or prepares data for special reports as required. Represents the company as required to customers, participants, other agencies, organizations, and the general community. Shares essential information with necessary partners as authorized. Works as a member of the interdisciplinary team, with mutual respect. Provides referrals to other organizations on behalf of children & families as needed. Compliant with all HIPAA policies. Job Qualifications Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, Psychology, or other similar field. Preference for someone certified in the Nurturing Parenting Program curriculum. Job Competencies Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new data systems quickly. Strong collaborative & communication skills and writing skills. Maintain professional boundaries & handle confidential information appropriately. Be strengths based in working with families and children. Handle stressful situations, sensitive information, and confrontation with professionalism. Perform at a high level of autonomy, with general supervision. Focus on accuracy, detail, and quality of work. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business, technical, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, the public, Board of Directors, and community stakeholders. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
