Job Description

As an Permanency and Connections Expert (PACE) Recruiter with Orchards Children's Services, you will use leadership skills to see that research based child specific recruitment plans are developed to help children in Michigan's Foster Care system find their forever family. The PACE Recruiter works to provide support and recruitment specific activities for children to develop durable lifelong connections with a forever family. While providing PACE services you will collaborate with Foster Care, Adoption and all other professionals working with each child. Using respect and empathy, you'll deliver child-specific recruitment ideas and strength based services directly to children who are awaiting an adoptive family, many with trauma histories. While collaborating in the recruitment process, you will see that the focus is on building permanency with lifelong families for children. Reignite your passion for helping children available for adoption by using your education and experience to make a meaningful difference in lives for foster children. Statewide travel may be required depending on where the children/youth reside. As a Child Welfare Agency, Orchards Children's Services provides endless opportunities for social workers to build a long and varied career path. If you have the desire to gain additional skills, you could grow into supervisory or program management roles. And there is plenty of room for advancement, both in the county and, because Orchards Children's Services engages with children and families throughout the State of Michigan. Education Requirements Bachelors in Social Work or related field, Masters degree preferred. Skills/Qualifications
