Our Approach:
At UPfield, our approach is simple. We want to introduce soccer to children ages 2-6 in a way that opens up doors of possibility both on the field and off. The goal is for kids to not only learn the wonderful game of soccer, but to have fun, build social skills, and improve self-confidence. We want By developing these skills through our High Energy, Fun and Age appropriate curriculum in a fun and non-competitive environment that encourages our little soccer stars to engage in our experience fearlessly we aim to empower them to find their UPside while learning some of the most challenging deceptive dribbling skills in soccer...fearlessly. We hope this amazing learning experience will build a solid platform for a life-long love and involvement in physical fitness and team sports...but selfishly we hope it's soccer! Unlocking the Potential of our little soccer stars!
Our Programs:
One of the greatest things about our programs for parents is the flexibility when it comes to our parents daily schedule. We understand that every schedule is already hectic enough, so that's why we've carefully developed our programs to allow parents to introduce our amazing program to their little ones in a way that works best for their schedule:
WEEKEND LEAGUES
The weekend league program runs seasonally in the Fall, Spring, Summer & Winter. The program length ranges from 4 to 6 1-hour sessions taking place once per weekend or weekday afternoon. No practices are held during the week. This program is beneficial to those parents who have a hectic schedule, but still want to have their child get introduced to soccer in a way that fits their already hectic schedules. We have found parents enjoy the league just as much as the kids do! Each session begins with a mini class skill introduction session and is then followed by a non-competitive soccer game. The session structure and included components are delivered in an age appropriate manner that provides the ideal environment for our 2's & young 3's participating in our UPfield Tots program to fall in love with the sport first progressing all the way through to our Jr. Academy program for our 5's & 6's…preparing them for a successful transition to Academy programs at their local area youth soccer clubs.
WEEKLY PRESCHOOL CLASSES
Our weekly preschool classes are 30 minutes and take place at preschool or early learning centers only once a week throughout the Boca Raton and Coral Springs area. These sessions will include highly structured soccer activities not only with a soccer ball, but also many other fun "props" designed to maximize fun, and engagement while focusing on maximizing soccer touches and ensuring age appropriate skill development. During each class, we make sure that every child is having a fantastic time while also developing essential physical skills along the way. These classes are constantly building on each other, and of course ... are always age appropriate. Each class will incorporate classic age appropriate fun songs and children's games that have been adapted to incorporate a soccer ball and general motor skill development.
