Job Description

New Mind Counseling Services is a growing private practice dedicated to providing compassionate, client-centered mental health services to individuals, couples, and/or families. We are seeking a skilled and caring social worker/therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate is a licensed social worker who values autonomy, collaboration, and high-quality clinical care. This position offers the opportunity to build a caseload aligned with your clinical interests while working in a supportive private-practice environment. Position can be part-time and move to full-time. Responsibilities Provide individual, couples, and/or family psychotherapy to clients. Complete clinical assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required documentation. Develop individualized treatment goals in collaboration with clients. Maintain ethical and professional standards of practice. Coordinate care with physicians, schools, community providers, and other professionals as appropriate. Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and applicable state regulations. Participate in consultation and/or clinical supervision as appropriate. Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field. Current Michigan clinical social work license (LMSW/LCSW) Experience providing mental health counseling/psychotherapy preferred. Strong communication, organization, and clinical documentation skills. Ability to work independently while participating as part of a collaborative practice. Commitment to culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and client-centered care.
