r45954-60629 Job Description We are looking for a dedicated and qualified Virtual School Social Worker to provide teletherapy services to K12 students across Illinois during the 20262027 school year. This full-time, remote position offers the opportunity to support students in a school-based setting while collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Assignments will be matched based on district needs, clinician experience, and overall fit to promote successful outcomes for both students and school staff. Compensation for this position can range from $47-$55 an hour. Caseload Details Services provided to K12 students Specific caseloads and school assignments will be discussed during the interview process Caseload size and student needs may vary by grade level and district placement Required Qualifications Masters degree in Social Work Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with the appropriate School Social Worker endorsement Active Illinois Social Work license, as applicable Prior school-based experience preferred Teletherapy or virtual service experience preferred Key Responsibilities Conduct virtual social-emotional screenings, evaluations, and assessments Develop and implement individualized intervention plans and IEP goals Provide direct and indirect school social work services Support students with social-emotional, behavioral, and academic needs Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal requirements Participate in virtual meetings, including IEP, eligibility, and team meetings Screening & Credentialing Requirements Completion of all district onboarding and credentialing requirements Successful background check and fingerprint clearance, as required by state and district policies Verification of Illinois PEL and applicable licensure requirements Participation in an internal eligibility interview Why Join Us? 100% remote work environment Full-time, consistent schedule Collaborative and supportive special education teams Opportunity to make an impact with students throughout Illinois Rewarding work that supports students social-emotional well-being, academic achievement, and overall development If you are passionate about helping students succeed and enjoy the flexibility of remote service delivery, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
