Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Youth Mentor to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of young individuals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mentoring and supporting children in need. This position is 3:30 PM
  • 11:30 PM and weekends.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to youth in various areas of their lives
  • Assist in developing and implementing educational and recreational programs
  • Work closely with children to address behavioral issues and promote positive social interactions
  • Collaborate with social workers and educators to track personalized plans for each child
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of each child regularly
  • Mediate conflicts and provide emotional support when needed
Skills:
  • Experience working with children in a mentoring or childcare capacity (1 year required)
  • Knowledge of child welfare and behavioral health practices
  • Strong conflict management skills
  • Ability to educate and empower youth through positive reinforcement
