Youll collaborate in a school setting near Westminster, SC, working closely with students who demonstrate aggressive behaviors, history of elopement, and complex PTSD, often triggered by sounds or loud music. Your expertise will help create a safe environment and guide effective interventions, supporting positive outcomes in the lives of young learners.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

Valid licensure or certification as a social worker, school social worker, or mental health counselor Demonstrated experience working with students exhibiting challenging behaviors, PTSD, aggression, or elopement Proficient in de-escalation techniques and trauma-informed care CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification highly valued Ability to recognize and manage behavioral triggers, adapting approaches as needed Compassionate, gentle demeanor with strong communication and interpersonal skills Previous experience in a school or educational setting is a strong asset

Key Responsibilities:
