A Family, School, or General Case Manager coordinates the delivery of a range of social and health services to individuals and families. Job Overview The Center for Family Development is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Parent Educator to join our Parents as Teachers (PAT) team. The Parent Educator will partner with families from pregnancy through kindergarten entry to promote healthy child development, strengthen parent-child relationships, and support family well-being. Duties Provide individualized home visits using the Parents as Teachers evidence-based curriculum. Build supportive, respectful relationships with parents and caregivers. Share age-appropriate child development and parenting information. Complete developmental, health, and family well-being screenings according to program requirements. Help families establish goals and connect with community resources. Plan and participate in group connections, community outreach, and recruitment activities. Maintain an active caseload and schedule visits based on family availability. Complete case notes, assessments, referrals, and other required documentation accurately and on time. Participate in reflective supervision, staff meetings, training, and professional development. Maintain confidentiality and follow all agency, funder, and program policies. Travel throughout the assigned service area to meet with families in their homes and community settings. Requirements Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, child and family studies, social work, sociology, psychology, or a related field. Experience working with young children, parents, or families. Knowledge of child development and family-centered services. Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills. Ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive team. Comfortable using computers and electronic data-management systems. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance. Ability to complete required background checks and training. Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.
