Social Worker/Therapist (Accepting license-eligible candidates) -

Sevierville, TN Shifts:

Sun-Thu (1pm-9pm) or Sun-Thu (8:30am-5pm) or Tue-Sat (8:30am-5pm) Position Responsibilities Demonstrates a high level of clinical skill in assessing the clinical needs of residents, determining appropriate interventions, and conducting therapy in accordance with these needs. Conducts individual therapy sessions for each resident on caseload at least one (1) time per week as part of the therapeutic process. Conducts specialized groups as assigned based on education, training, and experience. Supervises or co-leads groups with staff or interns when appropriate. Maintains therapeutic relationships with residents using praise and other reinforcers to encourage appropriate behaviors and attitudes. Possesses ability to set limits in a kind and firm manner. Demonstrates effective verbal intervention skills in managing escalating residents and involving other staff as needed. Adheres to CPI criteria. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

Must have a master's degree from an accredited college or university in social work, counseling, or other related field, and be actively pursuing licensure from the state, such as LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or LMHC. Minimum of two years' experience working with an emotionally dysregulated population which preferably would include young adults and adults in the mental health or education fields. Must have knowledge of human development over the life span. Requires valid State Driver's License and current CPR certification.
