Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Master Social Worker to join our team. This role involves providing mental health support, case management, and therapeutic services to youth aged 5-17. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and adolescents, offering a safe and supportive environment to promote their well-being and development. The Licensed Master Social Worker will collaborate with families, schools, and community resources to ensure comprehensive care tailored to each youth's needs. Responsibilities Conduct individual assessments to evaluate the mental health, emotional well-being, and social needs of youth aged 5-17. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Provide individual, group, or family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices suitable for children and adolescents. Offer crisis intervention and support during urgent situations to ensure safety and stability. Coordinate with schools, healthcare providers, and community organizations to facilitate access to resources and support services. Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and case notes in compliance with licensing standards and agency policies. Advocate for youth's needs within the community and ensure their rights are protected throughout the treatment process. Stay informed about current best practices in social work related to youth mental health and developmental needs. Experience Valid licensure as a Master Social Worker (LMSW or equivalent) required. Prior experience working with children and adolescents aged 5-17 is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to provide therapeutic services in a clinical or community setting. Strong understanding of developmental stages, mental health issues common among youth, and applicable intervention strategies. Excellent communication skills for engaging with youth, families, schools, and multidisciplinary teams. Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality.
Pay:
$45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
