In this role, you will oversee the planning, implementation, and supervision of engaging activities for school-aged children, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. Your leadership will foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff while promoting educational growth and social development. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a vibrant educational community, utilizing your expertise in early childhood education and administrative management to make a meaningful impact. Responsibilities Develop and coordinate age-appropriate programs and activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills for school-aged children in the afternoon setting. Supervise staff members, including assistants and volunteers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality program delivery. Maintain a safe and welcoming environment by enforcing health and safety policies in compliance with licensing standards. Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate program updates, address concerns, and support children's individual needs. Manage daily operations including attendance tracking, activity scheduling, and record keeping using educational administrative software. Lead team meetings to ensure consistent program quality and foster professional development among staff members. Assist with administrative tasks such as preparing reports, maintaining documentation, and supporting overall center operations. Qualifications Higher education teaching experience or relevant background in early childhood education or education administration. Proven experience in school administrative roles or as a school experience coordinator within educational settings. Strong skills in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with educational administrative software. Demonstrated ability in staff supervision, personnel management in education environments, and team leadership. Knowledge of childcare regulations, early childhood education standards, and safety protocols. Excellent written communication skills for report writing and documentation purposes. Previous experience working with students in an early childhood or school-age program is highly desirable. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.
