Job Description
Lil' Kickers Coach (Child Development & Soccer Instructor) We're looking for highly motivated, kid-centric individuals who love working with young children! At Lil' Kickers, we use soccer as a fun tool to help children build confidence, develop social skills, and learn through play. As a coach, you'll lead engaging, structured classes for children ages 18 months to 7 years in a positive and supportive environment. We especially encourage candidates with experience in preschool education, daycare, childcare, babysitting, summer camps, or other youth development settings to apply. Soccer experience or a passion for the sport is highly desired, but not required. We provide all coaching and curriculum training. What You'll Do Lead fun, age-appropriate classes that promote child development through games and activities. Create a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment for every child. Build relationships with parents and provide updates on their child's progress. Welcome families and deliver an outstanding customer experience each week. Follow Lil' Kickers curriculum and coaching standards. Support children's social, emotional, and physical development through play-based learning. Participate in ongoing coach training and professional development. Serve as a positive role model and ambassador for the Lil' Kickers program. What We're Looking For Experience working with young children through preschool teaching, daycare, babysitting, camps, after-school programs, coaching, or similar roles. Enthusiastic, energetic, and patient personality. Strong communication and classroom/group management skills. Ability to engage and motivate young children in a fun environment. Reliable, professional, and team-oriented. Interest in soccer, sports, or child development. Soccer playing or coaching experience is a plus, but not required. Requirements No prior coaching experience required; training is provided. Must be available to work weekends. Ability to commit to a consistent schedule throughout the season. Must be able to communicate effectively with supervisors, parents, and participants. Ability to be active, energetic, and engaged throughout classes.
