Locations:
Duncanville area schools (must be able to work at any of our after-school locations.) This role will float to different after school sites as needed.
Schedule/Hours:
;Monday through Friday, After-School 3:15 pm-6:00 pm. Monday through Friday availbilty required.
Pay Rates :
Starting at $15 ;per hour (depending on years of experience and education in related field) Texas State Requirements High School Diploma/GED 18 years of age Six months of previous experience in childcare in a ; ; ; ;group licensed childcare setting or school-type setting (will require verification). Must be verifiable Live within the listed school district area Fluent in English; bilingual is a plus What You'll Do Greet and check in students at the start of each session; take attendance and maintain accurate records Plan and lead daily activities, games, and enrichment lessons appropriate for the age group you're working with Facilitate homework time and support with academic tasks as needed Supervise students during free play, snack time, and transitions, ensuring a safe and structured environment Address minor conflicts or behavior issues using positive guidance techniques Communicate with parents/guardians at pick-up and drop-off regarding their child's day Report incidents, injuries, or safety concerns to your Program Manager or site lead promptly; log incident reports Set up and clean up program space and materials each day Attend brief daily team meetings to coordinate with other staff What You'll Gain Teachers & paraprofessionals: Pick up extra hours and income right at your own school.
