The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, service line setup, serving, meal counting/claiming and maintaining cleanliness in the cafeteria environment. The ideal candidate will run a POS system, accept food deliveries and run meal participation reports. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food and beverages in compliance with health and safety standards
- Assist with cafeteria line setup
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafeteria area
- Ensure proper storage of food items and supplies
- Follow proper food handling procedures
- Provide excellent customer service to cafeteria patrons Requirements
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Experience in a restaurant, banquet, catering, or hospitality setting is a plus
- Ability to handle food with care and maintain cleanliness
- Strong teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues
- Willingness to assist in various tasks as needed
- Previous experience as a dietary aide is advantageous
