DOEE&Q Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties may vary based on specific program and position, and may include but are not limited to the following:- Provide Specialized Skills Training (SST) and Service Coordination for an individual caseload of clients ages 0-3.
- Support development across domains with an emphasis on strengthening cognitive skills, positive behaviors and social interactions while respecting the diversity of families.
- Services are provided in the child and families natural environment, promoting parent or caregiver and child interactions within the context of everyday activities and routines in the home and community.
- Demonstrate dedication to public service, commitment to excellence in service delivery, personal integrity and recognition of the individual worth and common needs of all people.
Qualifications Education and Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work with a Current Texas State Social Worker's license or bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or Early Childhood Education with a current Texas State Teacher Certification, a bachelor's degree in psychology, a bachelor's degree in speech/language pathology or another related field is required. Bilingual speaking (Spanish) is a plus. Knowledge of child development and experience working with young children and families is preferred.Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations:
