Safe Care Provider- Family Services Children's Advocacy Center of Greater West Texas, Inc. - 2.0 San Angelo, TX Job Details Full-time $45,000 a year 8 hours ago Benefits Mileage reimbursement Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications Computer operation Parent educator experience Computer literacy Parent collaboration Early childhood education Social work Peer teaching English Bachelor's degree Data entry Social services Data collection Interpersonal communication Full Job Description The Family Services Provider is responsible for delivering all components of the curriculum model using the Safe Care Augmented Curriculum, implementing the Essential Requirements and Quality Assurance Guideline with fidelity, and collecting data as required. The ideal candidate will promote and foster the organization's values of advocacy, integrity, innovation, people-first, and community.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Case Management Uses approved curriculum and resources to plan and deliver weekly home visiting services to qualifying families and utilizes all required forms to document family information and data Maintains a caseload of 12 families at maximum, conducting home visits with each enrolled family on a weekly or bi-weekly basis Adequately prepares for all home visits, which includes reading appropriate provider resources, printing relevant handouts, and gathering materials for parent-child services Clearly and accurately document details of each visit, assessment, screening, follow-up resource, etc. on provided forms Submits all required family and program documentation on time Maintains all case files and documents in adherence to DFPS and CAC requirements Other Responsibilities Plans, provides and documents group connection activities and outcomes on appropriate forms quarterly or as often as program dictates Develops and maintains a community resource network system that includes all necessary information to link families to identified supports and services as needed Meets with supervisor for reflective supervision sessions, and as necessary to discuss procedures, protocols, and other administrative processes to ensure quality record keeping and data entry Participates in the program's staff meeting and continuous quality improvement process Helps parents and children transition to other services as needed, including developing transition plans Completes annually required competency-based professional development hours Maintains high level of child advocacy Facilitates other Family Services groups/classes as needed Participates in outreach efforts for Family Services and/or the CAC Attends and participates in assigned community coalition meetings and events as a representative of the CAC as needed Completes other related duties as assigned by the Director and/orCoordinator of Family Services Required/Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Bachelor's degree in social services, early childhood education, or related field Experience in early childhood education, social work, home visiting, and/or working with children and families Must possess excellent people and computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and the ability to learn other computer programs applicable to the position Ability to provide services and work in a non-traditional work setting, i.e. home office, client's homes, etc. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Ability to clearly convey and interpret information to others in a clear manner, oral and written Ability to work under time constraints and maintain effective job performance Ability to work independently and in a team environment Means and ability to travel to service areas as well as conferences and trainings Ability to work evenings, weekends as needed High moral and ethical standards Must maintain confidentiality Must pass all criminal background and reference checksJob Type:
