BRIEF DESCRIPTION
The Bike Friendly WF Coordinator position will be responsible for providing community resources related to bicycling and bicycle safety. This position will develop, organize, and deliver public education campaigns to all levels of learner to include virtual messaging and in-person classes and presentations. The Bike Friendly WF Coordinator position will also support all Bike Friendly Community Designation efforts and compliance, as well as research and support efforts to meet community needs and opportunities as related to bicycling and cyclist safety.

This position will be required to receive a League Cycling Instructor (LCI) certification through the League of American Bicyclists within one year of employment.

Exerting over 100 lbs. occasionally; 50-100 lbs. frequently; or up to 20-50 lbs. constantly. # Code Essential Functions 1 L Regular and reliable attendance in compliance with given schedules is a mandatory requirement of this position. Schedules may be subject to change with or without advance notice to include evenings and weekends. 2 L Preparing and delivering presentations to children and adults regarding bicycle safety and related programs. 3 S Reviewing traffic infrastructure and identifying opportunities for improvement as related to bicycle safety. 4 S Researching and applying for grants related to community bicycling programs, as well as maintaining compliance and reporting for received grants. 5 S Creating materials and messages for public communication campaigns related to community bicycling programs. 6 S Serving as a liaison between the City of Wichita Falls and various bicycling organizations, this position may also represent the City a public bicycling events and meetings. 7 M Conduct cycling classes for learners of all levels and abilities.

•Description of Minimum Job Requirements•Experience-Related Requirements Over one year and up to and including two years. Vocational/ Educational Preparation Requires High School graduation or GED equivalent.
