RESOLUTION - 223 DAYS ADDITIONAL INFORMATION/REQUIREMENTS
This position will remain open until filled. The next screening of applications will be conducted on Monday, February 23, 2026, at 8 a.m. Applications received after that date may be reviewed and considered as they are received. An essential function of this position is the ability to work in person and physically report for work on site.
JOB SUMMARY
The Special Education Dispute Resolution Coordinator position is responsible for providing support to school staff members in relation to responding to state complaints, due process hearings, and OCR complaints. Specifically, the coordinator is responsible for compiling and analyzing data to respond to alleged violations of the Virginia Regulations Governing Special Education Programs and Students with Disabilities. The Dispute Resolution Coordinator will work directly with the Supervisor of Dispute Resolution to provide support to schools for complex situations. The successful candidate should have experience and in-depth knowledge of special education regulations, supporting IEP teams, collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data, facilitating challenging meetings, critical and creative thinking, and problem solving.
Job Description SALARY:
Grade 16
Salary Range:
$98,139 - $159,084 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package
