Job Summary Restore Therapeutic Foster Care is seeking a dependable and compassionate Family Visitation Specialist to join our Family Services Division. This position provides supervised and guided visitation services for children and their parents or other family members. The Visitation Specialist is responsible for maintaining a safe and supportive environment during visits, observing family interactions, documenting visits objectively, and transporting children to and from scheduled visits when required. Required Work Schedule This position currently has a set weekly schedule of approximately 20 hours. Applicants must be consistently available during the following hours:

Tuesday:

9:30 AM-12:30

PM Wednesday:

9:30 AM-5:30

PM Thursday:

9:30 AM-12:30

PM Saturday:

7:45 AM-2:30 PM Primary Responsibilities Supervise scheduled visits between children and parents, siblings, relatives, or other approved family members. Provide guided visitation when assigned, including appropriate support, redirection, and coaching during family interactions. Maintain a safe, neutral, professional, and family-centered visitation environment. Observe interactions and document relevant behaviors, activities, strengths, concerns, and significant events. Complete visitation reports and other required documentation accurately and within established deadlines. Transport children to and from visits and appointments using a Restore TFC company vehicle when assigned. Ensure children are safely transferred between caregivers, family members, and visitation locations. Follow court orders, visitation plans, agency instructions, and approved participant requirements. Maintain professional boundaries with children, parents, foster parents, and referring agencies. Communicate scheduling issues, late arrivals, cancellations, safety concerns, and significant incidents promptly. Follow mandated reporting requirements and organizational procedures regarding suspected abuse, neglect, or safety concerns. Maintain confidentiality of child and family information. Assist with preparation and organization of visitation spaces before and after visits. Participate in required orientation, training, supervision, and team meetings. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Associate's or bachelor's degree in social work, human services, psychology, sociology, counseling, education, criminal justice, or a related field preferred. Experience working with children, families, foster care, child welfare, behavioral health, community services, education, or a related setting preferred. Ability to remain neutral and professional when working with families experiencing conflict or challenging circumstances. Strong observation and written documentation skills. Ability to establish appropriate boundaries while interacting respectfully with children and adults. Dependable transportation to and from the Restore TFC office/worksite. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required. Must be comfortable transporting children in a company-provided vehicle. Must successfully complete required background checks and employment screening. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.

Pay:
