Job Description

NRVCS is one of the largest employers in the NRV, and we are continuing to grow! Our team is looking for an Intensive Clinician to join our New Horizons team. In this position, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of those experiencing a mental health crisis within our community. The Intensive Clinician for New Horizons provides crisis stabilization, crisis intervention, assessment and clinical services to clients in the residential crisis stabilization program. Assists in development of program and treatment protocols for the crisis stabilization program. Works as part of the team to ensure services and resources are coordinated among providers as needed to help individuals served, live and function optimally in the community. •$5,000 Sign on Bonus•
Salary Range:
$55,282.50- $63,574.88
Education Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or other licensed-eligible Human Services field is required. State of Virginia License is required in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy. If not fully licensed with the Virginia Board of Counseling, you are required to register and become licensed-eligible within three months of hire (if applicable). At least one year of clinical experience working with individuals with mental illness, substance use disorders, developmental and/or intellectual disabilities is preferred. Additional compensation will be considered for any new employees who speak multiple languages.
