A Family, School, or General Case Manager coordinates the delivery of a range of social and health services to individuals and families. Assess client needs and work with agencies and institutions ensure clients get the help they need. Monitor client and work with other service providers as necessary to address client needs. Provide limited counseling to client and their family.
Hourly (based on experience) Position Overview Coastal Montessori School is seeking two caring, dependable, and energetic After-Care Providers to join our team. This part-time position is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children ages 3 years through 3rd grade during our after-school program. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, is patient and creative, and values building positive relationships with students and families. This position is an excellent opportunity for university students studying education, child development, psychology, social work, or related fields who are looking to gain meaningful hands-on experience. Responsibilities Supervise children in a safe, positive, and welcoming environment. Plan and facilitate age-appropriate games, crafts, outdoor play, and enrichment activities. Assist children with snacks, homework (when appropriate), and daily routines. Foster respectful interactions and positive behavior using developmentally appropriate guidance. Maintain a clean and organized after-care space. Communicate professionally with school staff and families during student pick-up. Follow all school health, safety, and emergency procedures. Qualifications Previous experience working with children in a childcare, school, camp, preschool, or similar setting required. Preference given to university students pursuing degrees in: Education Early Childhood Education Child Development Psychology Social Work Recreation or related fields Reliable, punctual, and responsible. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Must be able to actively engage with children indoors and outdoors. Must be able to pass all required background checks. Must obtain CPR/First Aid/MAT Training, if individual does not already possess these credentials.
