Job Description

LNSU is accepting applications for a Remote Special Education Case Manager to serve Lamoille Union High School. This is a .8 part-time licensed position for the 2026-2027 school year.

A remote special education case manager is responsible for overseeing the educational programs and services for students with disabilities who have been placed in off campus therapeutic day treatment schools, residential, or other off campus programs. The remote position does not require direct student services.

Responsibilities include:
  • developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • scheduling/coordinating IEP meetings
  • collaborating with families and school staff
  • ensuring students receive appropriate support and services
  • primary point of contact for parents and teachers
  • monitoring student progress
  • developing and amending/revising IEPs as needed per regulatory guidance
  • developing, coordinating, completing/writing evaluation reports
  • submitting Medicaid paperwork
    Preference to those candidates fluid in the EDDOC student management system.

Must have an understating of VT Special Education Regulations.

Must adhere to State and Federal timelines under the IDEA.
