Job Description

Tonasket Early Head Start Teacher/Family Advocate OCCDA has 60+ year legacy as an early learning program that strives to make a difference in our community by supporting children and families. We work to promote family success and improve kindergarten readiness for children. As a staff member you will have opportunities to grow as an individual and professionally and support our philosophy of parents as the primary educator of their children About the position: Provides a stimulating, safe, and developmentally appropriate educational environment where children (ages 2-3) have the opportunity to develop cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills in a classroom environment. This position will also travel to homes of enrolled families on a monthly basis to provide additional educational services and support to families.
Education and Experience:
AA Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field for qualified hire, or enrolled in ECE program as a provisional hire Valid WA State Driver's License Bilingual/Spanish, preferred
Details:
Full-time 40hr per week 48 Weeks per year Wage $22.66 per hour for qualified applicant Access to continuing education Regular access to a team, who will support you in all aspects of your teaching duties
