Job Description

The Heart of the Valley YMCA (Kimberly) is hiring an Early Childhood Coordinator to support the daily operations of our programs. These include 4K Wrap-Around Care operated by the YMCA and offered at off-site partner school locations, as well as Preschool, Growth and Development, and Kids Corner (drop-in care). The Coordinator travels between program locations, assists with recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, and developing staff, and supports administrative and operational needs, including stepping into classrooms as needed, to ensure quality and consistency across all programs. This is a full-time exempt career role within our Child Care department. Associate or bachelor's degree is required. Lead-qualified teacher and possess a Wisconsin State Registry Level 12 or higher. Previous work experience in supervising staff is preferred. Prior experience working with children, specifically birth to five in an early childhood setting. Must have the ability to build & maintain excellent relationships with children, staff, parents & community leaders. Position requires excellent written and verbal communications skills.
