Job Description
Home Visitor -
Dodge County Pay:
$21.47 - $23.69 per hour ($44,657 to $49,275 per year) Renewal Unlimited, Inc. is seeking a self-motivated, energetic individual to complete home visits to Head Start families in Dodge County. This is a full-time, year-round position. The office location for this position is based in Beaver Dam.
Key Responsibilities:
Works with 10 to 12 families within Dodge County. Plans and implements a comprehensive program designed for 0-5 year-old children using the Parents as Teachers curriculum and the home as the learning environment. Facilitates parent-child interactions at a 90 minute weekly scheduled home visit. Completes 46 home visits per year per family. Plans activities specifically designed to meet the individual needs of children and to educate parents in child development to enhance their ability as the primary educator of their children. Assists families to identifying supports and services that will promote healthy child and family development. Plans and implements weekly playgroups for children ages 0 to 5. Works with the Family Resource Center team to plan family engagement and male involvement activities and parent trainings & meetings. Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work, Psychology, Nursing or similar degree. Limited pre-planned evening work schedules may be required. Travel throughout Dodge County required for home visits; mileage reimbursement
